Jason is born in Toronto, Canada of immigrant parents from Guyana. He attended the University of Toronto (UofT) graduating in Geology fulfilling a lifelong interest in rock formations and geography.
In Toronto, he recent acquired ownership of a small resource extraction company using funds from the successful outcome of his trip to Guyana(El Dorado). As the newly appointed CEO, he was interviewed for a profile in World Oil Magazine
He was flattered to be invited to be the Keynote Speaker at the Suriname (former Dutch Guyana) Energy, Oil and Gas Summit. It sounded like a quiet week away from work and he would stop in Guyana on the way back to Toronto to visit his grandfather and friends.
Jason feels like the timing was almost perfect as in his personal life he and Wendy were trying to rebuild their relationship after Guyana.
